Hi there.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I live on a small farm and work from a straw-bale studio in the middle of a big paddock (or field, if you aren’t from Aotearoa) just outside Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Wellington, New Zealand. I love to talk to schools and I’m happy to be contacted by students – although sometimes it can take a little time to reply.
In 2019 I was honoured to become a New Zealand Arts Foundation Laureate. Click on the buttons below to find articles and videos about my work. You can use the form below or message me on my Facebook page to get in touch.

In 2022, the place where I live became home to a new, wild kiwi population (the bird, not the people) as part of an audacious project to reintroduce kiwi to an area they vanished from 150 years ago. Since then, they have snuck into my work as much as the whenua. I’m still in awe when I hear them calling at night!
